i agreed that it would be good to have a goal & decided to record this.

Somewhere along in the process i latched onto video essays explaining black holes and the end of the universe. I took comfort in the thought of everything eventually becoming nothing. Acknowledging the smallness of my life in this greater context deepened my appreciation for the illusion of time, and gave my existence a malleability that had always been present but i had previously turned away from.

these songs are meek initial attempts at self-love and self-soothing from the earliest days of my transition.
